Dimitris Triantafyllidis is the Chief of Emerging Technologies at Rolls-Royce. His responsibility is to identify, develop and deliver cutting edge technology solutions to all Rolls-Royce businesses. He is currently focusing on advanced imaging and computer vision, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, advanced robotics and autonomy. His remit covers all Rolls-Royce businesses, including the Civil Aerospace, Defence and Power Systems markets and covers applications across the company’s operations, products and aftersales services portfolio. He is also leading the company horizon scanning process.
He has worked for Rolls-Royce for more than 12 years in various roles across Engineering and Technology. He is a Chartered Engineer (IMechE) and holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
