As Managing Director of Products & Innovation, Maria oversees the all product and digital infrastructure for Barclaycard Commercial Cards. She has spearheaded the growth of Barclaycard’s B2B payments by investing in innovative and design rich product capabilities; developing tech partnerships to embed B2B payments into the wider B2B ecosystem; and focussing her team on specific industry verticals such as Travel and Procurement. She is a recognised thought leader in Payment Innovations and mentors Fintechs at Barclays Rise Accelerator program. Prior to her current role, Maria worked for Barclays Capital & Corporate Banking divisions. Her earlier career was with Booz&Allen as a Principal consultant within their European financial services practice.
